Configuring the Data Profile
The Data Profile is a key component of the Portabl platform, which allows providers to define which data they will collect for a given user during Data Sync, but also which data they will require when handling presentation exchange for Connect.
Define Data Points
To define the data that is collected for a user and required for Connect, you need to define a set of data points in your Data Profile. These data points will help you manage and control the data that is shared by your FS Users.
To define data points, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Portabl Console at https://console.getportabl.com/data-profiles (opens in a new tab).
- Specify the data points you want to include in your Data Profile. You can choose from a predefined set of data points. If you have additional data points you would like to collect that aren't listed please let us know!
- Save your changes.
Once you have defined your data points, you can continue manage your Data Profile using the Portabl Console. This allows you to update and manage what data is required for Connect and collected by Data Sync.
